What makes these v6 commy engines "good ones"??

No style Bomber ... thats the problem
They are an ugly motor but they keep using them cause they are cheap and available

they arnt exactly cheap, not many people are fitting ecotecs, they are l67s the factory supercharged engine, stockers wont leave you much change from 2-2.5k. Thats a fair bit more than your boat anchor 308 or 202 plus wiring/mods and making everything work. Its hardly a tightarses way out of making a performance car like you are trying to make it out to be.

Buy a whole VN for pocket change (usually still licenced) and still have enough change for a burger

Got all the bits you need... and this seems to be the usual way

I guess it depends where you are... some parts are more accessable in different areas/states

Still think they are a poo looking motor

At the 2011 GM Day is seemed like every holden up to around HK that had an engine swap had a V6.

I'm referring to the l67 not Buick tho. They first come out in vs statesmans. Buick and ecotecs are slow pieces of shit. I agree with u on the visual aspect. They do look shit.

If you want the same ugliness you would contact Marks Workshop in York who had them custom made I guess

If you wanted them in 17's you'd check the thread in the wheels/tyres section
