hey i have put new K&N breathers in place of my old ones. The new K&N ones are leaking oil through the filter,dripping onto my rocker covers and headers and smokin'. The old ones never did this. Does anyone know why this is happening?(and just so as you know they're NOT leaking between the rocker covers and breather grommits its actually out of the filter material not due to a poor seal) cheers

sounds like the same problem we have been having, we changed the filter looking breather with a round chrome one, it stopped the leaking :spoton:

some people say its "blow thru" but i dont think it is.

i tryed taping up the lower half of the filter/breather and oil still managed to come out??
material must not be fine enough i guess.

do u have pcv and wot type were the old breathers?

yes i do have a pvc valve and hose(i will check its working later),could it be forcing oil out by the pcv not working properly. The old breathers i had one chrome dome ones with the holes at the bottom like toranaZ old ones.
