I would like some Auto sparky advice, Im no good at reading wire diagrams,..
Do i put the brown and the black wires on the - on the coil and the yellow and red from the ignition on the + of the coil ? I think the black one comes from the Dizy ?
I think there is also a wire that comes of a relay on the coil itself,, does that go on the - ?

I havnt wired anything up yet as I would hate to short something out and have to wait even longer to hear her purr after such a long rebuild ,...!!

Thanks in advance

Yes I do Have a tacho, does that mean I have a extra wire , Im guesing it goes on the positive of the coil ?,, I hate guessing tho.
Thanks for your response. I will check it again soon

The black wire from the side of the dizzy, just below the dizzy cap will be the contact breaker (points) wire - connect to negative on coil.
The brown wire you mentioned in your original post is the Tachometer trigger and connects to the coil negative.

Pink and yellow (ignition wires) connect to Posiitive on coil.

If you have a cylindrical metal thing (about half the length of a AA battery) mounted to the coil mtg bracket and it has a black wire coming out of it then that is an ignition noise suppressor. This black wire connects to the coil positive.

There is only one wire on a Lh that goes to the coil +ve, it should be yellow.

Well She Started !! :))) the wirirng was spot on thanks ! Unfortunetly I had to source another mechanical fule pump which set me back another day, hence the delayed reply..
The timing is out a bit and she sounds tight on the bottom end,, so I might have to check the bottom end bearings, she sat for quite a while and I think the bearings might have lost some of that grease :(( ..

Thanks heaps again !
