Hey fellas I'm just detailing my engine bay welding up the unneeded holes and body filling over the inner guard creases from when it was made ive gone back to bare metal and need to know if I can paint the whole engine bay in etch or if I need to avoid the areas with bog and go over them with normal primer?

Etching primer over body filler?

Depends on the etch you use.
You should have just epoxied it all before starting the filler work.
Cheers.

Bombers right, epoxy is ideal... Bogging staight over steel isnt.
Is it single pack etch or 2-pack, are you planning to paint the car in 2pack or acrylic?

NW mate.
Next time fling the epoxy under the filler. And then over it again.
Cheers.
