Does anyone in here own or know someone who has the last years model of the VX V6 Commodore auto wagon
Ive owned mine since new (may '05) it already has had one new box fitted as it lost drive in "D" but would shift manually!
Just before this box died it started doing a harse bump change from 1st to 2nd to 3rd and also the same down shifting but all at low speeds under 60km/h.
Currently ive had roadside out to jumpstart the battery 6 times because ive had my hazzards on and or the radio for 1hr! Because of this, holden is claiming that the flat battery is sending a code to the box which causes the shift problems, crap!
My local dealer has the car at the moment so i have a loner VT which funny enough runs better than the vx has more power then the new 175kw and has 220000km.
Even with the codes cleared and a new battery it still shifts like crap, ive now found out over the weekend that an entire fleet of the same model was ditched by a sydney company because of the same problems along with another one in my area alone.
I'd love to hear anyones feedback, my car is now in the hands of holden customer division but i fear mine is 1 of possibly thousands with the same probs which is why im getting the run around with the diagnoses.

I have a VT Series 1 that I have done 2 auto's in over the last 50000km.
They are a piss poor excuse for transport. I hate my VT...I am most annoyed my wife made me sell the VL 5 Speed I had..it was a much more reliable and economical car.

My vt did a similar thing when it had lees than 50k on the odometer, the auto specialist said it had a cracked drum that the clutches sit in,he had never seen one that had that fault before. This was about 5yrs ago though.
