568 30521-Palais White
Not sure what the TOP means on a ute. White roof???
XX7 would be on the body tag, not sure if HZ still had that on the tag and it was only Brisbane built Sandmans that had it.

seen a few more with white roofs
not all sandmans had xx7 but being a 308 there's a good chance it may be one
hence why i asked about the xx7 code
try inside the glovebox or passenger door tyre placard as well from memory

all holden or somewhere had a tread on them
it's the earlier hq/j that never got the code
mind you this is all relying on my feeble brain and it's abilty to retrive data i read over two years ago

What are the rest of the numbers off that plate ?
Not really interested in the body number, but the model number & trim number might tell a story.

XX7 and XU3 are the special vehicle pacakage codes for the bulk of Sandman, and only appear on Acacia Ridge plates. Sandman utes were built at some time at all 4 x of the major assembly plants.

dr terry is the sandman guru if anybody knows what it is it's himA two-tone coloured ute is very unusual. Are you sure this body plate belongs to this car ?

Not sure that these included V8's.
However all outback pack utes had white roof and wheels, underbody protection, increased ride height, and rubber flap type guards in front of the rear shocks.
My brother has an ex Telecom outback ute - white roof & wheels & valencia or very similar colour orange.
Cheers,
Daryl.

Component Options:
F72 Gross load Equipment (on utes and vans only).
K45 Heavy Duty Aircleaner (not on V8's).
D71 Rear Mudflaps (only on wagon, sedan, ute and van).
T57 Front Mudflaps.
Feature Changes:
Engine Splash Pan
Rear shock absorber stone shield (ute, van and tonner only).
Rear lower control are rear mounting bracket re-inforcement (wagon and sedan only).
Plus according to the HZ features manual the front lower control arm chassis brace was included on sedan and wagon, but alreadyy standard on commercials.
Funnily enough, XW5 was the ONLY way to get factory fitted mudflaps. Every other application of mudflaps were dealer fitted.
