I have an LH which has been resprayed some time ago, still with original gold-ish paint in door jambs, but not sure of the shade. Can anyone help? It has a white roof.

The plate reads as follows:
TRIM 1408-60W
PAINT 567-15940
TOP 568-15951

In my LX list, shade number 15940 is Antelope, but not sure if it's same for LH.

Mail me with any info, thanks in advance guys.

Cheers,
Neil

15940 is Dulon Paint - Antelope LH and is the same on LX as you have stated.

Cheers

Thanks to Woody, but it's not Contessa Gold as I've owned one that colour before and it's definately not the same as that one, judging by what's in the door jambs

I think Herne is on the right track with Antelope.

Thanks.

it's antelope metalic with cotillian white top, the 1408 should be the GMH code for the main colour in this case Antelope. I don't have my cross reference on me

Hi Red,
according to my LX paint code list, Antelope is 1894. I believe this is the colour, but could the same colour have a different code for LH opposed to LX? I picked the Cotillian White (15951) and 15940 is the Dulon shade for Antelope, but the 1408 has thrown me off.

Thanks for the input.

Neil

Antelope is definitely 1894 which is the single tone colour listed but it is also listed as 1408 in two tone. So both numbers relate to antelope. This is accurate information that I have been recently researching and have obtained from Holden. Hope this helps.

Toranvista and I have nearly completed a list for all LH/X colours and trim codes. Should be available to all soon...

1408 is a code for a combination of the 2 colours, therefore a car which is all of one of the colours will have a number on your list and same for a car that is all of the second colour.

You can now update your list with a new code for this combination.

The Paint line will show the lower colour paint type and shade number, while the Top line will show the paint type and shade number for the roof colour.

Excellent work guys!
Thanks for the pic Dave, I only have the relatively small area of the door jambs to go on, but that looks the same. My only question to you now is how do you put pictures in a post?
Thanks to Red and James for the research, I never thought of it as a combination code. I look forward to that complete list, it will be helpful within our clubs.

Cheers all, and thanks.
Neil.
