does anyone know a good method for stripping paint off plastic? I have a good grille at home, its just had heaps of coats of paint on it and I would like to strip and repaint it. I am assuming that paint stripper will damage the plastic?
any ideas?

You can buy Paint stripper thats purely designed to remove paint from plastics like bumper bars etc, it mainly comes in aerosol form, I've used a SEM brand with good success in the past.
Definately should be available at most Auto Paint supply shops. around $15-20 a large can.
