I have found one to do up but the tags were lost or stolen years ago. I want to find out if it's the real deal or not before I purchase it. What do I need to see and if it's able to be registered?
Please help.

Registering it in NSW will be no issue, the tags just tell you the original colours on these and if it is a Monaro or GTS or GTS327. In any case it makes no difference, without tags it is just a HK coupe and will be worth the same regardless of what it used to be once you've finished with it.

PM me the chassis number on the firewall and i'll guide you through picking what driveline it had in it originally. The car may have been recorded too on the Holden Monaro Register many years ago before its tags were removed (Ben started recording these in the 80's).
