Hi all,

Stumbled across the following link

http://www.mikevinet... 8 Cylinder.pdf

There is one of these kits or sale that I am thinking of buying. Not being an expert, in hoping someone on hear can give me some info. Are they any good? The price for the kit that they are asking is $3500, good/bad price?

To be honest I can't believe they had set ups like this back in the day. It's brand new from day one, still in boxes and was in storage.

Any info/details would be appreciated. Would be putting it on a standard 308, trimatic pretty stock LH sedan.

Thanks guys and gals!

I've got one of those kits on my Torana to suit 6 cylinder.......Draw- thru turbo set ups are not looked at these days as the "ideal" way to turbocharge anything.......but they work, still better than a super cranky and bad mannered Natural Engine anyday in my view!......$3,500 sounds too pricey for my liking, but then again I've sold about 5 Garrett Strata Turbo kits to suit Holden 6's over the years and they have sold for anywhere from $1,500-$2,500 depending on the market and condition of the kits. As far as a bolt on performance booster, you cant really go past them............Takes a hell of alot of development to get an Atmo engine anywhere near the performance of just bolting on one of these kits. Sure, there might be better ways, and better bolt on components available to turbocharge an engine, but these kits in my view, fit with the era of the cars we own. Theres plenty of info on these kits on turbo202.com

Awesome, thanks stretchlc. It says to only run and install on an engine with standard compression ratios. If I have flowed and ported heads does this change anything. Sorry for the newb question, or is just if I have different pistons/bore sizes
