That L34 is expensive for 89.
In 99 Brian Callaghan's L34 racecar was in the Telegraph with a load of spares for $4500.........

I looked at the ultra blue car before and after it sold. Nice car but I recently saw it for sale again and I wondered how it suddenly lost 240000km.

Did you see it in 1989, when did it have all the K's on it, and what was it selling for..

Must be that hatch the bloke was trying to sell as Brock's on Gumtree
After all he "found" all the colours underneath the white paint :P 😳😉

Yes i know the A9X Blue 4-Door, its original colour was the A9X Bergandy Colour that they come out with, a Copper owned it Mark Probert, MPO.308 MPO=Mark Probert, i know Mark, he was a copper here in my town for a few years in the late 1980's, mark was from devonport way i think, he moved back that way and then put the A9X up for sale, i guess thats his add, as that is a Burnie/Devonport phone number, by look of the number, and the Green A9X 4-Door that came from Hobart, a mate of mine bought it, restored it and sold it later on to a guy in Qld, great car that Green A9X Sedan.

Interesting the add for the blue car says RARE ULTRA BLUE if it's not originally an ultra blue car. It looks like it's got black trim too, yet if you say it was originally burgandy, I imagine thats mediera red and only two were made, both with chamois trim. maybe it's original clour was in fact blue but had been mediera red at some stage?

Could be something changed with the car crash, but the red one has a roof antenna and the blue one looks like it has a guard antenna

That is the Question, it was crashed twice by the copper, resprayed by Terry Bodyworks in Penguin, as Terry painted my SS Hatch, the Black colour, i sent it there after i seen the paint job on the A9X, Terry does great jobs, he might know as he fixed it twice, his bodyworks is still in Penguin

And to think I passed on a L34 in '86 for the princely sum of 9K.
Also stupidly passed on an A9X hatch for 80K 6 years ago at the start of the financial crisis...

Never knew that Bergandy looking A9X Colour was so rare, thought that colour would be like the Red A9X Colour, lots of them, if Mark Probert had of knew that at the time, i reckon he would of left it that colour, he liked the ultra blue colour lots, so painted it that colour.
