I took her out for a drive again today and it all seems to be running pretty darn good now with that 70 degree thermostat and my 85/ 80 Thermo Switch, is it ok to keep that 70 degree Thermostat in there though??.

Ok, assuming it is hot in your neck of the woods and the system was staying at 70C without going near triggering the fans at cruise?

Yeh, 70C will see your motor last a long time, but reckon they'd be more difference in efficiency between 70 and 80C than any improvements you might have got by swapping over to elec fans. If money is a prob I'd be using your 80C stat and thee engine fan you still have?but that sounds like too much trouble, just stay on with the 70 stat until the right temp sensor falls in your lap for nicks.

Tested again today with the TEE KAY Head Check Kit, I pumped the bulb while the car was idling for a good 3 mins( they recommend only 2) and the solution stayed Blue= All Good?

I dunno if these kits are good enough indicator but it wasnt cheap!!
