I knew they were going Merc, but didn't know they were getting out.
Pity, although the opposition they gave some great input to the sport and i will certainly miss them.
Just when i was getting excited about revisiting the tin tops too.

On a side note, is this the first female owned and run team in oz motorsport ?

She owns Erebus Motorsport, she runs a couple of Mercedes in GT racing. When Mercedes Australia said no to any team running a Mercedes in V8 supertaxi, she went to head office in Germany and AMG and got their permission to develope a car for he new COFT. Straight over the head of Mercedes Australia. The girl has clout as well as a deep pocket.

Maybe they will bow out gracefully then start their own team again once the contracts expired ?
