Does anyone know what is required when converting and enderle injection hat to electronic fuel injection.I saw one at the summernatts with the fuel lines still installed that they used for vacuum for the power brakes etc.
I know you can buy the injection plate that is installed underneath the injector hat but I d like a bit more info if anyone knows what is required

The Enderle hat is just a big expensive throttle body. They are designed to operate in a very basic mechanical alcohol injection setup.
I assume you want to run petrol through this system ?
I can't say I have all the answers but I'll try to help with what I know....
The hat is modified so it only flows air through the centre butterfly, effectively making it an expensive 65mm throttle body. It needs a TPS fitted and most seem to mount the injectors in a plate directly below the hat, above the blower. I have seen a couple that use a modified "bunch'o'bananas" manifold to mount the blower, using a set of injectors in the standard location, as well as 4 more in the plate above the blower (handy I guess if you are using a VN headed combo). You then need your usual engine management stuff and someone to tune it.
Bear in mind if you want to drive this setup on the street there is, as far as I know, no facility for an air cleaner.
I'm pretty sure Paul Sant at ProFlow in Sydney has done this a few times and would be the first person I'd talk to about it.
Oh, it will not be cheap.
FWIW there is a mob in NZ that make a pretty cool looking hat that fits over a Holley carb and air cleaner. Its not cheap either but it is simple and effective...... http://www.alsblower...eetcatcher.html
Hope this helps.
