hi a friend of mine rang earlier tonight,he purchased a hx gts with a slr 5000 engine fitted,the engine no is HT 6054 cast date is 19 D 4 its complete and running still in the GTS
im putting this up to see if any forum member is missing an engine,for there LH SLR 5000 and hoping to match up this engine with its original car, as he is putting an NT engine back into the GTS, i havent viewed the engine myself,
otherwise he will evenually sell it

Hi Col why don't you ask if someone can tell you your original engine number and see if you can find it as this engine might be out of someone else's car and I would like to see 2 cars get there original engines back, cheers Aaron.

hi guys ive convinced my mate to wait a few weeks to see if the engine can be married up with the original torana slr 5000,
if we dont hear from any one in regards to the engine being matched up, it will be put up for sale
as for the nt block im not sure if he has 1 lined up, ill ask him when he rings me later in the week,
