guys

tidying up the rear seat section of the car today and treating the metal.

the car has the traditional red oxide and then the original acrylic paint in and around the rear quarter windows.

the rest is red oxide paint

I have rubbed back some areas to treat some exposed areas of the car ( internal ) that were not adequately treated by the panel shop. these were some spot welds and other parts that may need to pre mature rusting.

I have de oxidized the area
cleaned with thinners
wax and grease removed
sprayed a " etch epoxy primer that is suitable for lacquer based acrylic " - says this on the can

Can someone spread some light on what product I need to;

prime the etch from here

thanks.

It is primed and etched. Carry on with primer/filler/surfacer as required then top coat :D
