Hi fella's,
I have lh with a 202 it's got 3 on the tree and its having issues. I can select 2nd and 3rd however when I want either 1st or reverse, I pull the gear stick towards me and nothing it still selects 2nd or 3rd. Under the bonnet I can move the gear linkages by hand and select 1st and reverse no worries. It s just not being selected via the gear stick.
Has anyone had this issue before and found a fix? Also is it a common issue with column shifts
Any ideas because I don't have any

It switches between 1st/reverse and 2/3 in the column at the inner end of the shifter, that's where you need to look

You might have broken the knob off the end of your stick?
Or maybe your knob has fallen out of it's hole?

Rodomo had a good look at he gear stick and its till,n the correct position
76 LX I thought this may be the problem at the inner end of the shifter, can this part be changed or is it better to source a whole new column
