Looks like one of the Holley Quadrajet replacement carbs. The 390 I had looked like a 650 vacuum sec.

Hi All,
450 was mechanical secondaries and 465 was vacuum secondaries. Dave I
p.s. this isn't a square bore so I don't know now

Looks like one of those "New Generation" Holleys to me..........There was a few different CFM ratings for this type.............scratch up some numbers off it and post them up Wayne

Found what it looks like but does not say what it is:-

p.s. Square bore 650DP on the left so the spread bore on the right must be the next size down a 465?

In answer to what is this Holley carb used for....... a wheel chock.
Seriously, Stretch is correct, it is a 450 Economaster.
One would have to be desperate to consider spending money on it.

Yep 450 Holley .Good carby for me ,Great economy on my 350 Chev in my hatch with the spread bore manifold.Just run out of airflow at about 5000 rpm but that high RPM wasn't why I had it on my car .I'd give it a kit and someone will buy it for sure ,
