Pete
I put a set of the Falken ZE912's on the LJ last year. Haven't done a heap of miles on them and not much at all in the wet but so far they seem alright, although I haven't had the chance yet to really get out and test them yet. At least they're made in Japan if that's any consolation.
Unfortunately there is bugger all available in 13" tyres wider than a 185.
Cheers
Dave.
P.S: I wouldn't rate the BF Goodrich Radial T/A's a second look either.

Thanks for the info Dave, according to Falken these tyres are now made in Thailand. Not to worry, have located some Dunlop SP Sport LM703 for a good price, by the way, also made in Thailand. They should do the job nicely.Pete

The Hankooks aren't too bad, but there isn't much option in that size these days.

Tyres are fitted, look great fitted to a sprintmaster, & a reputable brand, which was what I wanted. Haven't tested them in anger, probably never will, but they feel good on the road.
