Hi there all,
Just brought a set of castle headers for my Lj with a 304 in it. The right side fits real good but the left side hits on the floor. Anyone had trouble with this and what the best thing to do. I call them up and they told me I'm the only one with this trouble and that my floor was bent. What a load off s** t i reacon. I'm thinking off cutting the up to fit. Any ideas would be great.

Cheers tony

Hi ljshawn
Cheers for the pic, this is what I have been told but your pic makes it easier. Have you had trouble with castle headers too then.

Hey Tubo,

I had no end of trouble with my castle headers ls1 into LX.  Drivers side fitted good but the passenger side hit in about 3 places.

They offered nothing on the phone except everything else was wrong except the headers. Ended up cutting and shutting mine to get them in.

Hope that green rocket of yours is still going sweet.  Nice to see you've joined the forum :)

Cheers.

Hi there all,
It's good to hear I'm not going crazy with my exhaust. They don't help you on the phone at all. Just as well for me I never gave them feedback till I tried them. Looks like I'll be doing the old cut and shut on them.

Hi boynuz
The funny thing is the fit wicked on the right side but hit on the left. So they get it right on the harder side coz they need to miss the steering and the x member but the easy side hits the firewall. I'm just ganna cut them. Even the dip stick needs to be modified on the high energy pan there's no room for one.
Cheers Tony

Hi Tony

I think cutting them is the only option as mine was exactly the same.

Cheers
