Removing Wiper Arms

Trying to remove the wiper arms to remove the scuttle (?) panel.
What's the knack to getting them off?

lift the arm up all the way, there is a metal clip. move it out the way of the spline, it will also hold the arm in that position. the bit of wriggly goodness and shood come off.

i used a screwdriver to leaver them off not a good way to do it and i chiped the paint i was not happy they can be tight they should riggle off

yeah i use a screw driver normally and slowly work it up, bit of an art to it, im a bit of a pro now but at first i think i chipped paint lol

Maybe my wiper arms and splines have been around the block a few times, dirty old girl she must have been. They just fell in and out.
