Has anyone had to remove vinyl paint from seats before what is the best way to do it?

Prev owner of my car painted the rear seat black/slate when it was originally was chamois. i'd love to return it back to chamois some how.

Thanks.

Good luck mate, that shit basically dyes itself into the vinyl. If its the VHT Brand it's near impossible to remove once dry

Probably easier just get a set of trims from c&g upholstery (boomfunk) and recover your trim

I got vinyl paint off my armrests using acetone. No damage to them. Try it somewhere inconspicuous.
