Sound like the one i was watching, started with a low price but went out of control.
FFS it's only an ashtray.
Don't know about black grain ones but Rares do a silver one.

About 20yrs ago I paid $60 for one at a swap meet and all my mates said I was mad and pissed them laughing.......whos laughing now....lol
I have been collecting many rare Torana parts for years even if I don't need them
one day I will sell them and retire.....lol

I have 2 in the shed, i think they are silver ones but have had the paint stripped off them and one looks like it might have been polished.
Took the torana to Dysart for a quote to get the paint and rust done (about a couple of years ago now) and we had pulled up at the local shops for some lunch,
before heading home when this dude pulled up in a ZD Fairlane for a sticky beak, told me he had an SL/R ashtray at home, he went straight home and got it for me, free of charge.
These car seem to bring the friendly out in everyone...............even F%^d drivers.
Not sure where the second one came from, pretty sure i didn't pay for that one either.

Lol, you big torana guys think the little torana guys are anal! Its a frOcken ash tray!! Unless you smoke why so important ?
It's about the same size as the glovebox lid on your baby torana.
Do you want to drive around without a glovebox lid?

I'd be interested, I might even have a broken black dash that could be used.

I will see if they will do them again for me, by memory i will have to do a minimum of 10 and for those who didn't get one last time you have to do the silver bit yourself with a pen

Might have to empty the small screws out of mine and show it some respect by putting it away .
