Hi Guys,

Could anyone explain how to remove the ignition switch from the steering coloum, I have a LX Torana sedan.

It is faulty, as the ignition cuts out if you wiggle the key while the engine is running.

Thanks

Rob

Drop the steering colum and all will be revealed.

If its the key barrel, the steering wheel needs to be removed. If it hasn't been removed before the slot where you need to put a flat screwdriver through may still have metal over it.

If its the white slide switch as harna said, drop the colum, it can be adjusted.
