Piston interchange to different rods

Just a quick question � are 186 and 202 conrods the same length? Also, can 2nd hand pistons be swapped onto different rods ? I understand that this needs to be professional pressed out. But are they are issues with doing this?

Yes..same length.

Yes...they can be swapped onto different rods...they dont have to be swapped out proffessionally...I just heat them in oil and you can press them out yourself with a vice and sockets ect provided you protect the piston.

I have done this numerous times on stockers that I have used in various cars..it not something I do for any of my worked engines...I like to have the rods checked...just to be sure.
