This Prem made 400hp at the rears on the dyno! Sounded tough, but no one thought that tough.
This is cool. Gen 3, 4 speed auto, power steer, elec windows, air con.
406 cube crate motor in this. Goes pretty well
6'5" mate of mine in his newest Escort 1lt auto, wouldn't even spin on the wet grass. Lol. But his 500 hp XW race car goes pretty well,

I had a real 'proud Dad moment ' at the dyno shoot out. I wandered up to watch & saw my 15 year old daughter right up the front. Ahhh I thought, said to my mate , 'that's my girl'.
On the the way home she asks me why did the black car (GT R Spec 335KW) win, as it wasn't the loudest! Face palm...

There was another down there at one time in the same colour, fella by the name of Woody owned it and done a fair bit of cruising in it with him
He ended up selling it off as a basket case as he tore it to bits thinking of the big rebuild and never eventuated - i tried to track it down a long time ago but it had disapeared off the face of the planet
Scotty has always been very bloody pedantic with that car - kind of bloke that would pull the tail lights out on the weekend and scrub them out with a toothbrush for something to do cause he couldn't think of anything else to do to it

There was another lakeside green GTS in Gnowangerup also. It wasn't originally lakeside, but the boys sideswiped a tree one night so they went & did the other side also so it would need a full paint job under insurance. Might be the same car as your talking about. Was owns by a truckie called Muscles, they used go fox hunting in it...
