Has anyone any experience or word regarding this company. I was looking into their Holden 355 Stroker http://www.pavtek.co...kages&Itemid=72 but am worried theres chinese crap inside them, i could get a motor build but this seems like a simple drop in way to get decent performance.

Doesnt seem to bad... Dunno, bout the price.

Gonna be an expensive drivetrain to handle the power!

Was enquiring as I've been recommended them to even build me a stroker at a power level and budget I'm happy with. Obviously though I don't want something that's gonna go bang as soon as you put it under some pressure. I was looking into a VL Turbo duff or 9" to handle the rear end and a 5spd trimec, but still in planning at the moment.

Pavtek bult a 308 for me years ago,    I did suppy some parts   and specified what other parts to use.   Turn out one of the nices 308's I've had ( state of turn . that is (.was is in a every day driven car ))

Not big on HP,  but had real liner power ,   Balanced, flat top ACL pistons mild porting,  mild cam , new valve springs,  regraphed dizy, and turned Rochester,   Did need a few Km,s to bed in -  lasted for years.

A bigger cam and it would have made a lot of HP,                       it had about 70 HP more then the standard engine at the real wheels
