Guys,

 

need to get green slip for the rego either today or tomorrow. Shannons quoted $480 ish , another online one was $780 anyone got any feed back on what they paid

 

thanks , I'm sort of thinking the Shannons one is about right

Motor Accidents Authority has a green slip calculator you can find through the NSW Government Home Page also

Everyone's is different also depending on demerit points and area you live in but mine's around 431 from nrma which was also cheaper for my bike by about 100 bucks so use the calc cause they vary a lot

Do you have comprehensive insurance on the car? If you are eligible for full no claim bonus (eg another car on it) it os sometimes worth paying the extra. $250 extra spent on comprehensive can save you $200 on greenslip. I remember my old Daihatsu Delta Tipper. $170 for $2000 comprehensive, $150 for 3rd party property. $20 extra saved me $250 on the greenslip.
