I have a VN Comodoor with VS front guards’ and bonnet are things like VS doors and boot able to be put on a VN.
Are there many other parts that are interchangeable between these V models?

Had a series 2 VN Wagon once with VS front end, had been changed in the mid 90s when it was crashed and only cause it was still worth money. Owner must have liked the newer styling. Wouldn't bother doing that now, unless it's an SS or something. Cooling sytems on 1988 to 1990 model V6s were hopeless, didn't have an actual radiator cap until the later ones.

The car is a designated track car so it needs to stay VN but just trying to gauge what can be put onto it from other models.

Doors roof radiator support all interchange, base Kframe does however racks dont fit all. Kframes are also V6 or V8 they dont swap.
All VR/VS panels are the same and all VN/VP panels same except gaurds. A VR/VS front is a bolt on fit to a VN/VP.
Check out Just commodores if your too lost. Wrecked out a few of them over the years for there 5Ls
