hi does anyone know anything about what my engine codes mean
the engine is a 308 has a qt prefix wich ive been told is hq- hz
but what does the code t3h6 mean and has a clock with a hand pointing to 5
engine numbers 308

QT is fo the HQ HZ correct
The other is the date code for the block
probably be 13H6 the 13th day of august (H the code for august) 1976
Not sure of the clock face however ..

It hung around a fair while before it was given an engine number as that is a May-July 1977 engine number.
