said "we have never had that trouble before" I now you get what you pay for and all that
but thought I might get one for a spare but it was a joke the core was that wide it hardly
fit in between the chassis rails lol

I recently purchased an alloy radiator from ebay, said it fitted LC/LJ/LH/LX with Chev, so I got one. After some major mods to the car it did fit, but not bolt in out of the box.

I guess they figure if you're modding any of those to fit a Chev you won't notice.
It is straight up false advertising though.

I ordered mine from this site:
Aussie Desert Coolers
http://www.aussiedesertcooler.com.au/
Best to give them a call, and ask about the fitment of their radiators

yeah iv seen some of his handy work from there they are a nice radiator

My radiator was just the standard brass/copper radiator for my LC. It was around $400-450.
One problem I found is they didn't drill the holes on the side so you have to mark it all out and drill. Wasn't too hard but at least you yourself makes it fit where you want it.

I would never buy an alloy radiator off ebay, I got mine from Race Radiator for my LJ Torana.

Why not? I bought my 3 core off ebay for a cheap price and its been in my car for 2000Km so far and hasn't missed a beat. I did have to drill out the brackets myself as well but it fitted perfect in my LH and I got a set of thermo's from Taree radiators and they fit the radiator perfectly.

1 1/2 inches from the side mounts and drill a couple of new holes its a three core with tig welded tanks works perfectly and only $160 odd bucks delivered

Why.
Can't just make a statement like this without a reason.

Hi Mort,
I bought this exact thermo fans from this mob in Taree.

And I bought this exact radiator from this place in Melbourne. They are only a short trip from me so I picked it up but so far so good. The radiator has worked flawlessly and the thermos are working nicely too and I have a fairly worked 308. Dimensions of the radiator are in the description.
Be sure to check the dimensions of any item you intend on buying though as dimensions can change over time.

I have very recently bought an aluminium rad to go in the HQ. Double checked the measurements of the current one before buying and checked the new one when I picked it up. It is spot on.
Looks well made to me and for just under $160 is cheaper than having the old one looked at.
