You cant be serious. Go down the track at 180-200km/hr tearing from the start line with retreads, I dont think he has got a death wish, well....maybe he has.  :RIP:

11.57 @ 121 mph on a good track with traction and you being able to shift at 6750 without over revving it and just making noise not power.

There is no way a 3000lb car with 410 HP and 425 ftlb will run 121 MPH.

If you use one of those HP/ track time calculators you need to subtract HP that will be absorbed by the cars transmission, suspension etc. In a well set up auto trans street car this will be about 65-85HP.

It will run about 11.8 at 112 if everything goes his way.

But then if you run retreads you'll obviously gain most of that lost power back!

Yep MT radials probably wouldn't drive on the street as they will chew out pretty quick

Sorry for intruding, but I have done 120 mph repeatedly on retreads in the 80's and even did 143 mph once when they were bald. Dave I

p.s. if you want sticky tyres, retreads are the go.

p.p.s. not sure what retreads are like these days

Oh, and if they were not any good, I wouldn't have bought more, they were the old TA pattern Bridgestone casings

Last set of retreads I bought were TA's too

Speed rated to 130kmh

I peeled a front one off at 120 (2 weeks after having them fitted) and never bought them again
