Have I got the wrong bracket? Trying to attach the alternator to a 75 LH Torana with a 308. The chassis rail/panel is stopping me from putting the alternator in the correct position for mounting. Have the Toranas got a different mounting bracket to other 308's? My bracket has got 2811891 HOLDEN 203 2 stamped on it. Thanks in advance for any help.

That's wrong alternator bracket...lh/x go other side of engine run down beside engine fit inside chassis rail.

You'll probably have to buy new one..look up on rare spares site or ebay.

Nice bit of revision there Brad.  I need to re-visit the Holden Factories thread and finish it off.
