Hey Matt, I was there on Monday. Left the family at the motel so I could take my sweet time.
Must have taken a pic of almost every car in there.

Any idea how long the GTR-X is on loan for? I have to go to Bendigo in the next couple of months and would be worth the trip to Echuca if it is still there. I haven't seen it since the Sydney motor show in 1970.....

No but you could contact the Museum and ask them. I presume it will be going back to the Birdwood Museum.

Thanks for the details. I will do! I thought the GTR-X and the Hurricane normally lived in Fishermans Bend these days. Good to see this one out and about at least.

The lady at the Echuca Museum said the GTR-X came from the Birdwood Museum. So........
Apparently they had the Hurricane at the Echuca Museum for a while but gone by the time I was there. Would love to have seen it in the flesh.

I think the GTR-X spent some time at Birdwood earlier this year. I guess they are sending it on the rounds

That Barbados LH is identical to how my LH left the factory. Got lots of pics of that one.

I saw the Gtr-x at fisherman's bend earlier this year on a trip down there for work so can confirm Oz that you are correct, after seeing these pics it made me think that there was more than one.
Wasn't there a thread on here with some pics of one of the shells ? Couldn't find it with the search function

Wish they did a fibreglass kit like the Cobras but of the GTR-X.
Bomber would love to sling a big block 6 into it, whilst an L98 or similiar would float my boat.

The text in that first image is rubbish. GMH used many cars in marketing with one car representing others. The first HK GTS (2-A) was used at Lang Lang for marketing images and then resprayed yellow and dressed as a yellow GTS327 for other marketing. The blue car in the attached link brochure also sits too high to be a GTS327, and look at its arse end on the back page - no Quad pipes. I wouldn't be surprised if the GTS327 badges are added to that photo either. There was only 3 cars built when these photos were taken from memory.
