I'm always playing with mine!! but that's halve the fun.
I'm not a weber expert but would say once there been tuned and set up for your motor they should stay good!
But to me the thing that puts things out is leaks and things coming loose, that's what you get when giving them a hard time which i think is hard not to do once you have them on your motor! got told the weather can change things a little also.
Regular checks keep things good I believe.

I would recommend reading a book by Des Hammil called how to build and power tune Weber and delortto carbs. Even if you don't plan on tuning them yourself you'll get a better understanding of how this carbs work.

Would love to see a comparison of a well sorted set of both webers & 2" su's up against each other, on a hotty that is...

SU'S are super simple. Don't listen too much to the people that know nothing about these carbs. The people that whinge about triples either have never had them, or have tried and failed with sets that need rebuilding. My best advice would be find a set and have them fully rebuilt, but expect to pay big dollars, especially for the webers.
But then again Holden 6s don't look good without 3 carbs hangin off the side
Couldn't agree more.

If you want to run the webers check that all jets , chokes & air correcters are the same I,ve never had a problem with tuning any of the tripples mentioned I read the approprate book to suit carbs and application and followed the basics. theres nothing better than the sound of a properly tuned six. I love the webers, I have most of the carbs tripple 1 3/4 & 2" su's 45 mm webers 175 cd strombergs and they are all pretty easy to tune and they all have there positives and negatives just do some reading and make your own desicion. most people bag tripples because they have tried to tune or had a mate tune them and have had nothing but trouble.

Hey people I'm thinking of putting triple Weber on my 202 was just wondering is it hard to keep it in tune because a lot of people I asked said that it's either hard to tune or it keeps losing it tune?
I have 2 IDF webers on my RS 2000 I understand this isn't a 202, so don't shoot me
To answer your question
Once the webers have been set to your engine, this can only be achieved by a dyno with gas analyser , not a back yard job,
I did 42 dyno runs on my vehicle to get it right. Each run takes only 20 secs, then changes are made
Once done, you will have street drivable machine
They are easy to maintain, you need a digital tacho and digital vacuum gauge, I made a little box to house them, then it's a simple job to adjust each Carby and balance
My RS has 10 adjustments ( idf have mixture and air bleed for each Venturi , balance and idle set) for idle speed and that's a 5 min job tops
I hope this gas answered your question, once set up, they are very easy to keep in tune.
