I am thinking of getting a URE 383 chev crate motor from Pro Action Motor sports, has anyone had any dealings with either? (Good and Bad)

TIA

Yes. I had them build a 572 BBC for me about 18 months or so ago. I dealt with them directly and they were very helpful. I had Jeff the yank in California import it for me. He was excellent. I don't live far from his business partner in Melbourne.
The engine is in and runs without any issues. Still finishing up odds and ends so not finally tuned. A quick lap of the block suggests it has plenty of poke.
No nasty surprises so far.

Rexy, have you done any miles with the 572 yet? and still satisfied?

I'm trying to resist the urge and buy locally, my heart says local but my wallet is screaming at the thought.

Only a couple of blockies. Will finish off the last odds and ends when the good engine is finished installation in the hatch.
I too like to buy locally but the $10K plus price gap was too much to ignore.

Lots of room in the Engine bay, HQ to Z should have been standard with the big block!

Well got everything finished off and have been trying to rack up a few miles in the last month. Nothing has fallen off yet!
It's nice to have the big dodgem car back in action.
