G'day All

Just added to my collection of Torana era magazines is the "Motor Manual" February 1971 issue.

I only got this for the one article on Brock's supercharged LC GTR. Harry Firth is also mentioned.

It shows how far back the motor was set and I also noticed that the radiator was still in the front and not in the boot as most other photos of this flying Torana show the big air intake on the right rear side panel just above the wheel arch.

This, then seems to me, to be an earlier version of that car before the modification.

AND this great LC GTR add was on the back page :spoton:

Wicked article Barry, I really enjoyed reading it! Thats the first pics I've seen of that car without all the other mods... very cool :D

I knew i should have spent the extra for the GTR instead of the SL. :tease: :spoton:

I love these old school adds. So much more cool than new car adds. :rockon:
