G'day All
Well this tour is almost finished but still I have to go shopping with the missus so I have to sit around and find something to amuse myself with and I've always got my camera with me, especially in Tassie.
So I just sit there in the mall and stare at the shop window
But I had another offer to go for a ride but I declined as I know about "stranger danger" AND I might have been a tad too old for it anyway
Now I know my dress sense is quite useless but I think I can do better than this lot of colour coordination
The "Nut" at Stanley was one of our stops and the view was outstanding
As we toured through the Seaquarium, I could hear the theme music from JAWS
Nah, no need to worry about that tiddler but the youngest of our tour members, Brendan, did get the crabs
I don't think I would be putting my hands in that water with mumma octopus guarding her eggs
On the way back we met up with "Miss Ruby", a 1966 1600 Variant VW
Gotta admit, she looks good for her age
The block of units just around the corner to our stay in Burnie had an unusual formation of Basalt rock.
Is this photo the right way up or not
It is the right way up although the plant growing out of one of the cracks makes it look otherwise
Mmmmm, where did this little beauty come from
One of the local Tassie Torana boys called in for a visit
T'was walking down the street with camera in hand as one does when one is a tourist and I says to meself, self, that car looks a bit funny
AND yes, it is a sillycar or Celica as some call it but the legs coming out from the back made it look a bit odd
AND yet some more ingenuity with local letter boxes
A good Holden number
Yeah mate, and pigs fly
AND one thing I did notice about Tassie and that is they like to have good gardens.
This one is where the surfboard letter box was at
Might be one more post to come
