Has anyone any information on the length of the front springs on the original LC XU1 1970? I am lead to believe they are less than the 10 inches O/A length of the 71 and 72 Bathurst models?

Thanks Phil.
Harry says my car looks high in the front and should be using front springs off original LC xu1 but mine are 10 inches neat so are actually lower than the originals. Looking at the AMC issue 9 on Page 47 my car sits exactly the same so he has lost me a bit. Maybe when he sees it in the flesh it will look better.

Ive got a set of 335's out of my xu1 and they are old. Ive measured them and they are about bit over 9". Got a bit of saggage over the years rores. My xu1 did have a V8 for most of its life.

I would suspect a bit of sag too..If it's 1/2 inch I wont worry about it.

I am now going for Dobinson fronts which are 9" overall.. This should bring it down that bit I need. The original rears were 7" but everyone only makes 8" but I can live with that.
