I am getting towards the pointy end of my car being complete and have spent a while hoping a

set of 265 / 50 /14 eagers that are not as hard as concrete might turn up. No luck as yet. (Better luck winning lottery I think)

I am open to any one that has any. (wanted section yes I know)

On the other hand I am after any alternatives that people have tried in 14 inch 50 series.

BF Goodrich I see antique tyres in Perth have.

Any of your experiences with an alternative would be really appreciated.

thanks

Steve

Steve, have you tried/were you aware of American Republic Wheels?

http://www.americanr...cwheels.com.au/

They had some staff member come on here a while back and with no approval form head office introduce himself and then go to ground.

I subsequently spoke with a more substantive member of the company (Jenni Manson) in relation to the very difficult to find and ordinarily expensive 285/40R15 and got great comms, a great price and great service - delivered door to door.

Maybe try them?

Cheers, TB

Thanks Craig I will give them a call Monday.

Neil, Yeh I am still living in the 80's. I want to use my 14inch hotwires

to keep what I had back then. I have 2 new 245 eagers. But can not find

anything else. I may end up having to bite the bullet and go 15 inch.

Thanks

Try these guys, they are the only tyres I've found in that size you can buy that are new and not some 20year old stock that is hard as hell. http://www.antiquetyres.com.au/1426550

I have a brand new pair of 245/60/14 Eagers in the shed, white letters. Probably pretty hard by now though.
