LC Mirrors

ive got a LC that someone put gts mirrors on, they are off a hx gts monaro i think. the problem is that they arent functional, i cant see anything out of them. the angle on the door is different to the angle of the hx door so they look down. i think the mirrors look awesome but need to look at new ones to get it back on the road. ive seen these mirrors on other toranas, can i change them to work or are there special ones for the torana? also i was think of different ones to ut on, any ideas? maybe lc gtr? has anybody got pictures?

The problem is the genuine mirrors for a LC are pretty much the same. Here is a link for a genuine one on ebay!

thanks for the reply. yeah thats the one i was meaning. are they just as useless? i really like the gts cause they are colour coded but im getting panel work done so i can change the mirrors easily now. any ideas what mirrors would look good? anyone got pictures of their aftermarket or stock mirrors?

i have these mirros on my lc and they work fine show us a picture of how you have them mounted

hey yours look like they are mounted better. ill dig up a photo, i cant get one of the car as its at the panel beaters right now. ill get back to you. thanks for the post.

here a 3" peep mounted low on the door frame ,

Mate,
Pop down to Repco if you have one nearby.
They carry a good range of retro style chrome mirrors.

hey thanks for the replys. the pics give me an idea what my options are. i want to keep the gts mirrors if possible. High_rpm could you email the photos of where your mirrors are mounted if possible. my pannel beater would like a photo of your mirrors to look at so he can work out if mine can do the same.
