ls2hatch (Grant) runs factory commo cast manifolds and to me is clearly the best and cheapest option. There are different types so maybe PM him to get the good oil on the ones he is running.
I have CAE extractors which are don't go anywhere near fitting in as manufactured form. I needed to cut, modify, weld, fit, cut, modify, weld, fit a few times to get a good fit which admittedly once done work fine but they are nothing like the $1000 items that turned up.

Best bet it to ask around a few shops & see what sort of custom work they've done before.

Materials would be a couple hundred at best. That's a he'll of a lot of labour to add up to $3500
That's my opinion anyway. Maybe I'm wrong, and in the wrong business.
