Its not going to give you an honest reading at idle.

Its giving you a measure of litres per 100km.

My VE you could reset the computer.

Maybe search and see if you can reset it then start again.

They are not accurate as I said in my original post. My low fuel light comes on telling me I've got 50k's to go. I drive a further 15k's and it tells me I've still got 50k's left.

VT from the factory could be empty with 1/4 showing on the needle.

How accurate is the digital display?
I got 15.2 at idle this Arvo but it doesn't even alter when ur going up hills or even overtaking.

Mine seems to be reasonably accurate. Dash display says average of 16L per 100k, do 300k's takes around 47 to 49 litres to refill the tank.

 

The displayed average fuel consumption figure is updated every 2 minutes, or something like that, it doesn't update every second.
