Hello all

I just recently got my torana on the road after a 3 year restoration & I'm hanging to get it out for a good squirt

my wife and I just recently had a little baby boy so getting time to take the torana out is few and far between

I put it out there to all of you if anyone is interested in doing a speed off the street day at Wakefield Park in late June sometime any date after the 17th will be fine.

i'm just stinging to open her up & hang out with some like minded people to have some fun

The weekends 'Speed Off the Street days used to be Rice-central, better off choosing a week day (though they aren't as frequent). Great circuit to have a play and they sell 102 (or 105?) octane (unleaded) from the pump.

Another friend of mine who has an XU-1 is keen to do a drive day at Eastern creek as well ,its about $340 compared to wakefield being $200 but a lot closer to home if something goes wrong (as I will drive the Torana to & from )Just another suggestion

i'm still keen to do Wakefield though ,

what date /dates were you thinking ?i'm pretty much free to go anytime after the 20th june .and as Howard recommended ,its better to go on a week day due to the fast and the furious crew that get there on the weekends .(I don't want to be overtaken by a 4 cylinder ) hahaha

looking forward to opening her up hey

Id be keen, but yes EC is a lot closer if something goes bang and in my view a lot easier on the cars as the track is a lot more open. Wakefield is tight and technical
