Hi ladies and gents,

My LH was painted about 12 months ago and has been sitting 'safely' in my shed with a cover over it, while I have been side tracked messing around with bikes.

Anyway, turns out a few cute little possums have been playing a game called 'Who can take the biggest piss all over that car'. I think it was a tightly contested competition,.

The roof is the worst and has spots of urine that have gone through the car cover.

I washed the car, and have tried a meguiars polish. It sort of made it better, but it seems that the paint is stained quite deep.

Any experience or remedies? Or am I looking at a partial re-paint?

Thanks

Dan

Haha, saw that today, I usually hate cats, but that one is cool... Could have been real nasty if the cat and person where not there...

As for possums, get a trap and relocate them one by one...

And then possum proof ya shed...

What are the chances that kid has been teasing that dog in the past?

Probably Brad but the kid is autistic.

No excuse for dogs attacking humans regardless of the reason.

I am a dog lover by the way. Got 2 of the cretins :)

Yeah definately irelevant....in any case a dog should be restrained in its own yard, always..... I hope the owners get charged.

BTT, you will need to give it a proper machine buff.

Cheers.

So what if he has.

He's a 4 year old kid ffs.

I doubt he has though, from the video it looks like the dog saw a chance to attack and took it.

Might be more help if you tell us what type of paint eg. Acrylic, 2k etc.

The paint is 2 pack, metallic devereux blue with a clear coat. I'm not sure how to tell if it has gone through the clear, but it didn't want to polish off in a hurry.

Is there a method of machine buffing I could try myself?
