Hi all

It has been a while since I have rebuilt a master cylinder.

Just trying to disassemble my PBR master cylinder on my LC. I have removed the C-clip and the retainer bolt underneath, but while the cylinder moves in the master cylinder, I cannot remove it, any hints.

cheers

Glenn

Bolt underneath it.

Undo it, then compressed air in the outlet ports, gently, should all plop out.

Cheers.

Cool, I got a piston assembly out. Am I correct in assuming there are two?

cheers

Yes theres 2

The bottom one is held in with the bolt underneath

When refitting you need to push the piston down against the spring before screwing it back in

Failure to do so will damage the bottom piston
