If your chasing acrylic primer your probably not going to have much luck,

For 2K there is a brand called HB Body that makes a white 2K hi fill primer, I think its either American or Italian made I can't remember.

If you need a white base to start with and your using acrylic I'd be inclined to paint it solid white then rub it down again then put your colour over it. Its a bit more work but should provide a clean covered base.

Try Colourfast Auto and Industrial at Hillcrest (07) 3800 8877, they should be able to find something that will work.

Hey toranaz,
is the body colour going to be the same as the engine bay in your auto sig?

A suggestion from something we did at a PPG training day,
Have your heard of Spectrol Grey Primers?

The idea is based on the fact that different colours refract different amounts of light,
so you match the refraction index of the primer to the top coat colours index,
eg
Yellow paint refracts 10 to 15 percent of the light, so use spectrol primer 1 to 2.
Dark blue refracts 70 to 80 percent so use primer number 7 to 8.
result,
get top coat coverege with less paint, up to 60 percent less paint,
and better depth of colour on finished surface.
Is easier to use than a tinted primer as well,
because you can see better if you have complete opacity and coverage after putting on the top coat.
Tinted primer that are similar colour to the top coat make it hard to see if you have proper coverage.

The only place I know that you can get PPG products, is Metro Ford Paints.
Other brands may have a similar product,
other suppliers to ask Prestige Paints (Glasurit),
Queensland Paint Supplies (Standox),
all are Brisbane based, just look em up.

Cheers
Chris.
