Hey it don't look so bad, he was just doin' a bit of a skidder, & arsed it up on the wet patch..
.. the article reckons his SLR was only "almost wrecked"..
So, likely.. a classic case of.. "shit 'll buff out"..

I don't know if the car is still around or was an L34 but there is a bit of a write up on him.

Lots of these cars were simply used for stockies and the like and not much thought was given to what they were at the time...unfortunately.

They werent worth that much back in the day.
Was talking an old friend yesterday.
He bought an HG GTS Monaro 6cyl in 1981 for the princely sum of $300
Put a dent in the bonnet and 1 guard in 1985. Nothing major.
Pulled the motor out.
Filled the car with timber.
Was centre piece at a bonfire.
In the 80s V8s werent worth a lot to the average buyer because of high fuel costs etc.
Quite often a 6 was dearer than an 8

Yeah, you're right.. I had a mate with an E37 6-Pack Charger, he drove home pissed one night "parked" on a hill,
in the morning found it had run off down & collected a tree, took it to a panel beater, got another heap,
- & didn't collect the Charger - so the panel beater stripped it, the six-pack 265 ended up in a bloody Land-Rover..

Great Driver Cess Hendricks, he had a Car Yard in Devonport for years, Hendricks Motors, and used to have lots of Muscle Cars in the yard over the years, he retired and sold up and moved to Qld the Great Man.
