Hi all I am a self confessed parts tragic and have dealt with a lot of people over the years who have a variety NOS parts. I for one have accumulated some very sort after NOS goodies that are very rare in my time. I wish I had more...

I have come accross parts that people have that I have thought "how the hell did you come accross that" reaction. Anyhow let's see what rare stuff is out there and I wonder if between us all we could build a NOS GTR XU1!!!!

So from bumper to bumber...

No it's not a parts trading forum, and if you post you are posting your part not as a salable item if you even own it that is.

As I said I know plenty of people that have NOS parts. For example I know a guy who has a NOS set of bumper bars that has bought new from GMH and has no intention of selling them....

I recon it would be possible to create a NOS XU1 Ken.

Good Idea you have, with all the NOS Parts out there, we could have the First 150 XU1's again.

We could make 150 fake NOS Body Shells ( nobody will know :innocent:  )

I'm pretty happy with my resent purchase on EBay,3 sets of genuine NOS XU Air filter elements for $271.

Works out at just over $30 a filter which is pretty cheap considering that these were making around a $100 per filter a couple of years back. :D

I bought some aftermarket inner door handles, cost me $75. When they arrived I was disgusted in the quality, very hard and had a visible join line when it was moulded together.

About a week later a pair of black NOS ones arrived on ebay for buy it now $150 so I dived on it and bought them. Ok I paid too much buy they were magnificent, nice and soft and perfect in every way. I took the repo ones back and got my money refunded...picture of the nos set yet to be fitted below....

Thanks Ken, condition of each filter is new as expected.

As you would know one was advertised that had water damage but it looks OK to me, had it out in the sun today and will leave it out of its bag for a while to hopefully use it one day.

cheers

Not sure Adam as you most likely know there is no date on the bags but know what you mean about the different bags they came in.

They are 100% ridgies but these must of been made at different times, maybe someone else knows but I don't.

They all embroidered with the Bendix but as you will see in the photos they  have different fonting.

Someone else may shed some light.

Sorry forgot to down size them.

I have a NOS set of HB tail lights for my HB that i picked up out of, um Turkey i think it was? Some far off country that i didnt expect them to be in.

Kinda chuffed about that, but totally irrelevant to this thread.

Cheers.

Anyone have a NOS left hand mirror plastic base? Not a HQ one, the correct LJ one.
Would love to lay my hands on one, even just get a copy of it printed by 3D...

My only nos item is a Lj passenger door mirror arm. I wish I had the black plastic base for it too, but I've never even seen a used one available, so I had to make my own.

I have 2 LJ washer switches/pumps, still in the Holden boxes. Took me ages to find a second hand switch with a working pump, (had to use parts from about 3 pumps), then I stumbled across a couple of NOS ones.

Also have NOS diff u-bolt retainer tab things.

The $350 washer switch/pump  being sold by Holden Man Restomotive, he's had it for sale for a while now.

I'm keeping an eye on it if anyone pays that amount one of mine is going straight on ebay as well
