Thanks for the pics MRNOS!

I attended today and was impressed by the turnout of XU1's but all were LJ. Only on LC there and it was a GTR.

Was a good weekend.

Two LC's on Show - Our(Kel's) Cameo Gold GTR and Brents LT1/5 Coupe. That one was prolly out on events when you went by.

G'day to anyone I may have chatted to in the QTCC marquee, hehehehe.
And a big howdy to HSVGTS. Thanks for the lend of the vacuum.

Got to drive the GTR down on Sunday too, as it's my b/day this week.

Nothing like a Torana show with events.
Everyone needs to give Pete (MR LX) a big pat on the back, and hopefully it will be enormous next year.
Keep July open on your calendars people.

if the mag says it has a stroker I would say you hit the nail on the head. By memory it had about 280 hp at the rear wheels

Oh, forgot to say - Eselar (the white A9X sedan in Red's post above) won Grand Master - nothing like a real A9X competing in ALL event, though they accidentaly gave his go-to-whoa time wrong when he got that trophy - it was 5sec flat.

Good to see a number of forum members going home with silverware.

Grant..

Looks aside-each to there own I guess-the 1 thing that I dont like about this car is the sound-it sounds like a truck!, the side pipes dont help at all..

Not a bad custom :D , I bet it would boogie. The truck sound would ensure others would keep out of its way, LOL.

Um, WTF

Gotta love the Bumperetts........... NOT

It was big in the early to mid eighties to do this to Toranas plus other cars as well. A real sad look for the Torrie thou.

This whole car is not realy my taste but has had a lot of work put in. Some just like to be different.

That looks like a great turnout of Toranas. The dude with the twin turbo BB must have some very creative plumbing to fit all that in!

Anymore pics of the BB twin turbo thing?

Is that a reversed a9x style paint scheme or something totaly different?

I wonder what it goes like, iv seen pics of it when it was all red and the 1/4 panels were bare metal from the burnouts.

John
